Purpose & Vision
We welcome you to join us for our first annualHopeWalkHaiti.
A beautiful, adventurous hike, across the mountains of Haiti, where you will discover why Haiti was once named the pearl of the Caribbean. A true cultural experience, as you leave the city walking into the interior of the country, amongst the native people and on to finish our day at the coast of Jacmel. Whether it is your first time in Haiti, or Haiti is your home, it is bound to be an adventure you won't soon forget.
HopeWalkHaiti, is an endeavor to raise funds for education here in Haiti. Your participation in this years HopeWalk, will enable women and children to experience the opportunity of education, which will extremely enhance their quality of life. For some, it will be education for the very first time, for others it is providing them with the opportunity to continue their education through, school, sewing, and vocational training. With only a mere 10% of children able to attend school our hope is to raise enough money to send as many children as possible to school this year and continue to train and empower women through educational programs.
50% of your $500.00 fee will go towards walk expenses (food, lodging, transportation) the other 50% will go towards educating Haitian women and children.

Each participant is responsible for attaining their own passports and purchasing their airfare to and from Port au Prince Haiti.
Schedule:
You will arrive in Port au Prince Haiti on Friday Oct. 10th, visit with the kids at the orphanage.
Saturday, we will be driven to our starting point, a 2 hour ride into the mountains. Begin our hike at approx. 6am. We will picnic along the way and be met by truck at our finishing point, 6-8 hours later..
We will then spend Saturday Evening through Monday at noon in Jacmel, enjoying the beach, shopping and relaxing. We will return to Port au Prince on Monday afternoon. Before departure on Tuesday.
