As we pray and believe for God to continue to change the spiritual atmosphere in Haiti, we will continue to build long-lasting relationships with the people, by meeting their physical needs as well as their spiritual needs, for without building our foundation on relationships, our words and deeds will fall to the ground, as thru a sift. As one of the Haitian proverbs says …. A hungry person cannot hear…….how true we have found this to be. We feel commissioned to support and encourage the Haitian people in their own environment and culture and do our best to acclimate to it, in order to gain their respect, and the right to speak into their lives. Not trying to change them to follow us, but teaching them to follow God...and to bring them His hope and His love. God has called us to support and encourage others whom are working in Haiti as well.

We will continue to stand on the scripture God gave us as His promise to Haiti in Isaiah 62… (see Haiti’s Promise)

Because I love Haiti, I will continue to speak for her. For Haiti’s sake I will not stop speaking. I will speak until her goodness shines like a bright light. I will speak until her salvation burns bright like a flame. Haiti, the nations will see your goodness, all kings will see your honor. Then you will have a new name. The Lord himself will give you that new name. You will be like a beautiful crown in the Lord’s hand, you will be like a king’s crown in your God’s hand. you will never again be called the people that God destroyed, you will be called the people that God loves, your land will be called the bride of God this is because the Lord loves you. and your land will belong to him. Haiti, I have put guards on the walls to watch. They must not be silent day or night you people who remind the Lord should never be quiet, you should not stop praying to the Lord until He builds up Haiti. Don’t stop until He makes Haiti, a city all people will praise. The Lord has made a promise and by His power he will keep His promise.. He said, I will never again give your grain as food to you enemies. I will not let your enemies drink the wine that you have worked to make. The person who gathers food will eat it and he will praise the Lord. The person who gathers the grapes will drink the wine in the courts of my temple. Go thru! Go thru the gates make the way ready for the people. Build up… build up…the road. Raise the banner as a sign for the people. The Lord is speaking to all the faraway lands: tell the people of Haiti Look! Your savior is coming He is bringing your reward to you.He is bringing His payment with Him. His people will be called the Holy people, they will be called the saved people of the Lord and Haiti will be called the country God wants It will be named the country God has not rejected! We are standing on His promise!!
